Of Mice & Men – You’re Not Alone

On December 1st, 2013, Of Mice & Men fans were ecstatic with the release of the single for You’re Not Alone. This song is the tenth track on the 2014 release of Restoring Force, the band’s third studio album. The song keeps with the established sound of the band, with the heavy guitars (Alan Ashby & Phil Manansala) , drums, (Valentino -Tino- Arteaga), bass, (Aaron Pauley) and the clean, (Aaron Pauley) and unclean vocals, (Austin Carlile).

This is a very uplifting and influential song. The lyrics talk about living your life and not letting it go, “When it feels like all is lost and there’s no guide that’s left to prove it / Take a look inside, cherish your life / And live before you lose it,” (www.azlyrics.com).

The chorus and the bridge, have got to be the most influential parts of the song. This tells you too keep going cause you actually are not alone in the world as you may think, and that if you are willing to push through you can, “Don’t let the world bring you down / There’s always hope for the willing / Don’t let the world bring you down / It’s not over, you’re not alone anymore / At the end of the day, what will you choose? / Will you keep moving on, or be forced to lose / Look inside of yourself, ’cause the power’s in you / There is always hope, you’re not alone” (www.azlyrics.com).

While this song sounds great, it has a beautiful message to convey and to send out to the fans and listeners that need it.
